The Board of Supervisors approved the five-year capital improvement plan on first reading at its October 13 meeting, 4 to 1.
The plan sets aside $86 million from fiscal year 2027 through 2031. The largest projects are fire and rescue station 4 ($14.2 million), broadband for 3,900 rural homes ($11.8 million, most of it from state grants) and the courthouse annex renovation ($9.6 million).
Supervisor Tom Haugen voted no, asking that the trail extension wait a year.
The board takes its final vote at the October 27 meeting, 7 p.m. in the Board Room. Residents can speak during public comment. Read the plan summary.
